General Announcements It is great to be back!Although I am a very proud new mom and I enjoyed my maternity leave, I am SO HAPPY to be back at school! I am enjoying getting to know all of our fabulous fifth graders and look forward to getting to know your family over the next few weeks! Here's to an excellent second quarter!
Daily Homework:Nightly HomeworkRead 20+ Minutes Thank you for supporting your child in reading on a nightly basis! Although your child is encouraged to read an AR book, his or her evening reading can be out of a magazine or a non-AR book from home. Math Facts 10 Minutes Additionally, your child is highly encouraged to practice their math facts for 10 minutes on a daily basis. Your child can practice using flashcards, orally, or with a paper and pencil. Once your child has completed these two assignments, please continue to sign the bottom of your child's agenda. I review agendas on a daily basis so the agenda is an excellent communication tool.
